The Message-Baby Jesus December, 2019

Jesus left heaven to come to this sin filled world full of evil and wickedness, hurt and pain, hopelessness and death. He did it for us. He took the curse of our sin so He might point us to God. His Name is Emmanuel-God with us.

That baby born in a manger gave His life for us. He became sin for us so we could become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

He took the punishment we deserve. He did it for us because He loves us. Why else would someone give His life for others who are sinners that don’t even know Him?

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh which I will give for the life of the world.

Jesus was born to destroy the works of the devil. That everyone who believed in Him could be set free, forgiven of their sins and spend eternity with Him in heaven. That is why there was a baby Jesus born in a manger in Bethlehem. He is Christ the Lord, the most precious gift that could ever be given.

1 John 3:8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning.

The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

We celebrate Jesus’ birth because He defeated sin. He has paid for all of our sins and our forgiveness. Our past no longer exists in His eyes. He has removed our sin far from us and He will not look upon it again. All guilt and shame is removed because, we who believe are new creatures through Jesus. He gave us a new heart. His righteousness is our righteousness. When God looks upon us believers, He doesn’t see our sin, He sees us wrapped in a robe of righteousness that looks like His Son Jesus.

In that manger in Bethlehem He came as a baby, gentle like a lamb. But when He comes in the Second Coming He will come as the Lion of Judah. All heaven will shine brightly with His Glory as He rides the clouds to earth. Every eye will see Him. He is coming wearing His crown and He will come as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Everyone will know who He is. Every mouth will confess it.

Revelation 19:11-13  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Jesus will end all pain, hurting and suffering. That’s because He’s going to end the one who is causing all of it. That would be the ruler of this world Satan.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

As Mary held baby Jesus she remembers what the Angel Gabriel had told her-His Kingdom will never end. You can be a part of His Kingdom if you accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

Find a place in your hearts for the Perfect One to come and dwell this Christmas. We need Him to enter our lives miraculously as He did on that Bethlehem morning. He is still with us. His love endures forever. Rejoice and praise His Holy Name.

Jesus is the way which God came to the earth and the way people get to heaven. Only through Jesus Christ and His shed blood can we be reconciled to Father God in heaven. Only through Jesus and His righteousness can we stand in God’s Presence.

Accept Jesus as your Savior today and let Him fill you with love. He will forgive all your sins, wash you whiter than snow. Makes no difference where you’ve been, let Him into your heart. Forgiveness is yours through Jesus Christ. Let Him pour His grace on you. Let us declare our love to and for Him.

Romans 10:9-10 If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with thy mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2 Cor. 5:21 Confess Him as your Lord, and Savior and become the righteousness of God in Christ.

Have a wonderful Merry Christmas as we remember our Lord Jesus’ birth.

Oh come let us adore Him Christ the Lord, born in a manger in Bethlehem to save all who would believe in Him.

God bless. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up all their wounds.
