Bible Strong-Blessings of Revelation, July 2019

Revelation tells us Jesus will return as the Lion of Judah, the King of the world. The book was written to seven churches and reveals the fulfillment of God’s promise given to Abraham in Genesis.

In reading this book it should motivate people to live their lives, obeying God’s Word and to remain faithful in times of trials, storms and persecution, until King Jesus returns. Always be ready for His return as we don’t know when it will be.

Revelation begins with a blessing for those reading and studying the book itself. It’s the only book in the Bible offering such a blessing. There are a total of seven blessings found in the book. May you be blessed even as you read them.

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Revelation 14:13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.

Revelation 16:15 Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.

Revelation 19:9 Then he said to me, Write: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb! And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Revelation 22:7 Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city.

Ready yourselves for His return. He will come in the twinkle of an eye.

God bless. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up all their wounds.
