The Message-Broken, May 2021

Going through hurt and pain, living in those darkest nights is where I saw Jesus as He is, loving, faithful, true, steady as a rock, a shelter and fortress, my shield, refuge and defense, full of grace and mercy. He reminds me I am not alone and will never be alone. He says, fear not for I am with you. I will help you, I will strengthen you, and I will lift you up with my righteous right hand. Although you are broken, I will mend and heal you. I will bind up all your wounds and restore you.

It is in our brokenness we will cry out to the Lord. In the deepest pain and darkest nights we realize we need Jesus to help us. When the waves of panic hit you when you least expect it, Jesus is there in the midst of all of it.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Matthew 28:20 And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

The Lord has placed me in situations and circumstances that have made me “fireproof” like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (Daniel 3:1-26). That’s because He was with me, just like He was with them. I now run to Him quickly, about everything, especially in times of trouble, sickness, sadness, hurt and pain.

Tell others how the Lord has helped you. By doing so, you may help countless others going through difficult times.

Daniel 3:27 … the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.

John 14:18 I will not abandon you as orphans–I will come to you.

When new difficult or troubling situations and circumstances come, I don’t see them like I used to. They don’t upset me like they used to. I’ve already been through the fire and survived with Jesus by my side. I came out not smelling of smoke, even though the furnace was hot and the smoke was all around. Keep your eyes on Jesus in the fire, as you walk through it with Him.

I tell you these things because the Lord got me through them, grown my faith and strengthened me. He can help you too.

Become fireproof, a firewalker through Jesus Christ our Savior, King and Lord. How great He is. He takes such good care of those who love Him. I can never thank Him enough.

He is my first line of defense, my shield. I use the Word of God as my sword and swing it in the heat of the battle. I speak His Word and it has power and authority against the enemy.

1 Corinthians 3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

I remember being ready to give up on more than one occasion. My circumstances had beaten me down. I told the Lord I couldn’t go on anymore, I was so tired. When I had all I could take of it, He gave me His grace and strengthened me to go on.

I pray sharing this comforts and strengthens you through Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

He says I will deliver you, I am your Deliverer. I will lead and guide you, I am your Shepherd. Let me comfort you and restore what is broken inside of you. I will heal you from all the hurt and pain. I will mend every wound for I am your Great Physician.

Psalm 107:19-21 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!

Jeremiah 15:21 I will save you from the hands of the wicked and deliver you from the grasp of the cruel.

Psalm 50:15 Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.

Deuteronomy 30:3 God, your God, will restore everything you lost; he’ll have compassion on you; he’ll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered.

I know some of you are hurting and your problems seem as big as a mountain that you can’t move. There are hurts and offenses that have hurt you to the bone and you can’t heal them by yourself. There are broken hearts, dreams shattered, children astray, lives shattered, marriages broken and relationships severed. But God can put the broken pieces of your life back together again. He can heal your heart and bind up your wounds so you can live again. Turn to Jesus and let Him take care of you. Forgive those who hurt you. Say goodbye to despair and depression. Allow Him to heal and restore you, to make you whole again.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Psalms 34:17 The righteous cry and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

God healed me on the inside. He healed my broken heart, He bound up all my wounds. He has restored me. He will do it for you. Ask Him to.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Psalm 34:18 When you are brokenhearted, I am close to you.

So the next time you get discouraged or in despair, feel like quitting or giving up, remember you are here for a purpose. There is more for you to do for the Kingdom of God. When God’s children think they can’t take anymore, God does a work in them and gives them whatever they need to keep on running this race until time to come home to Him. Keep your eyes on Him.

2 Corinthians 1:3 I am your Father who comforts you in your troubles.

It doesn’t matter your circumstances, some will take you to the brink, to the edge, and then the Lord shows up. I learned that if the Lord puts you in it He will go through it with you, regardless what the circumstances are. When our strength runs out we have His and His, never runs out. He is a mighty great God.

James 1:3-4 For you know that when your faith is tested, your patience, steadfastness and endurance have a chance to grow. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Today I want to thank You Lord for bringing me through the storms and trials, not destroyed but restored and through the fire not burned up but better. You have taught me to come to You and weather the fires and storms that are to come, in Your strength. Thank You in advance for bringing me through the ones to come. Thank You for making me a fire walker through Holy Spirit. He empowers me to continue, to go forward in glory strength that comes from You Lord.

God bless. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up all their wounds.
