Shout It Out-Christmas 2021 Dec. 2021

God entered the world as a baby. Jesus, You left Your throne to be born in a manger. Kings bow down to you and Angels sing. You gave Your life and suffered greatly. The earth and the heavens are filled with Your love. You are Christ our King.

Matthew 1:23 Behold the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son and they shall call His Name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us.

Matthew 1:21 And she will bring forth a Son and you shall call His Name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.

The birth of Jesus is the most important birth there ever was or ever will be. Jesus is God in human form.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

The Bible teaches us that Jesus’ birth occurred in the fullness of time and at a time God chose. God had promised a Savior. He then arranged everything to culminate in the birth of our Savior. The birth of the One who died to pay for all our sins, sweet Jesus. What an incredible plan God had to save mankind from their sins.

Galatians 4:4-5 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Hebrews 2:17  Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

Christmas is a special time to remember and celebrate Jesus. God has given us the gift of His Son. This great sacrifice, this great love of God should convince us of His love for us. Jesus was born to die for us. That baby born in a manger gave His life for us. He became sin for us so we could become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Jesus left heaven to come to this sin filled world full of evil and wickedness, hurt and pain, hopelessness and death. He did it for us. He took the curse of our sin so He might point us to God. His Name is Emmanuel-God with us. With love in His eyes and heart, He laid Himself down for all of us. In doing so He brought the broken to life. He gave us a way to be reconciled to the Father, through Himself. There could be no Christmas without Jesus.

John 1:14 So the Word became flesh and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.

Jesus was born to destroy the works of the devil. That everyone who believed in Him could be set free, forgiven of their sins and spend eternity with Him in heaven. That is why there was a baby Jesus, born in a manger in Bethlehem. He is Christ the Lord, the most precious gift that could ever be given.

1 John 3:8 He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Jesus, You have showered me with Your love and the love of my family. I am thankful. You are our real gift Jesus. As I think of these things, I count my blessings, and am so grateful You are in my life. You never gave up on me when You surely could have many times.

For those spending Christmas alone, grieving, hurting or going through difficult times, I pray Jesus would come and hold you in His arms. Jesus is close to the brokenhearted.

Jesus is the way which God came to the earth and the way people get to heaven. Only through Jesus Christ and His shed blood can we be reconciled to Father God in heaven. Only through Jesus and His righteousness can we stand in God’s Presence.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

During this Christmas season and celebrations you may not be aware of Him, but He is close by. Look beyond the decorations, shopping and your to do list and listen with your heart. You will find He’s waiting right there close by for you. You are the one He wants to be with. You are the reason He came. Seek Him in your stillness, as He whispers your name.

As I look back I remember how far Jesus carried me because of the hurts of this world. He didn’t leave me and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Precious Jesus came to save us. All you have to do is accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

Receive the invitation from Jesus, it is for everyone. Accept Jesus as your Savior today and let Him fill you with love. He will forgive all your sins, wash you whiter than snow. Makes no difference where you’ve been, let Him into your heart. Forgiveness is yours through Jesus Christ. Let Him pour His grace on you. Let us declare our love to and for Him.

Romans 10:9-10 If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with thy mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2 Cor. 5:21 Confess Him as your Lord, and Savior and become the righteousness of God in Christ.

Have a wonderful Merry Christmas as we remember our Lord Jesus’ birth.

Oh come let us adore Him Christ the Lord, born in a manger in Bethlehem to save all who would believe in Him.

I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas with Jesus at the center of it.

God bless. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up all their wounds.
