Bible Strong-Evildoers August 2018

Often times we see people who have rejected Jesus, prospering. It makes you wonder why they prosper when they are totally not in God’s will. You see they are ungodly but still they seem to be getting ahead in life.

They will only do well for a time. They will always fall in the end. God will assure the evildoers get their just reward.

Psalm 37:1-2 Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity, for they shall soon be cut down like the grass and wither as the green herb.

They may not realize just how dangerous it is to be away from God. We must be ready to tell them about Jesus and His Salvation whenever we get the opportunity to. These people’s souls are at risk. By doing this we will be doing the will of Abba Father who sent Jesus on the same mission.

One of Satan’s tricks is to confuse our minds so that good looks like evil and evil as good. He is not only the Father of Lies but he is the deceiver. His goal is to ruin and destroy us.

Only through a close relationship with Jesus, the reading of His Word and persistent prayer, can we find the wisdom we need to recognize Satan’s tricks when we see them. Ask God for His wisdom and to guard your thoughts and your mouth. Ask Him to open your spiritual eyes and deliver you from evil.

At the end of our lives, we will face God. Whether our deeds are good or evil we will each be held accountable for them. The things we got away with on this earth will be made known and what went unrewarded will be paid in full.

God can be gentle and kind and also dangerous when we forget He is holy, holy, holy and reject His Son Jesus. Speak to God as the Sovereign Lord that He is or prepare to meet Him as the Judge He is.

God isn’t willing for any to perish but wants all to repent and accept His Son Jesus as their Savior. When you see someone who is hurting, desperate and depressed, bruised and battered, tell them about Jesus. Reach out in the same love God gives us. God will use you to touch that person. You may very well help bring them to Jesus. If not, you have planted good seed.

We must trust God. In order to trust Him, we must know Him. In order to know Him, we must accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and worship Him. We must fix our eyes on Jesus and read, speak, live and share God’s Word.

Christians are on a journey in which our feet are on the earth, but our hearts are in heaven. Turn your eyes towards heaven.

Matthew 7:13 Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it.

God bless. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up all their wounds.
