Shout It Out-Goodbye 2020 Hello 2021

 January 2021

As we walk out of 2020, some may want to shake the dust off their shoes and can’t say goodbye quick enough. It was a troubled year. Many lives were lost, many jobs were lost and many have suffered in all kinds of ways and still are.

Sometimes the Lord will bring us to the end of ourselves so we see that we need Him. We are shown we are not in control and can’t fix what’s wrong on our own. We are shown we need a Savior. If this is why 2020 was what it was, the Lord brought billions to the end of themselves with the Global Pandemic Corona Virus-19.

I would like to think many around the world believed in and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior during this troubled time, but I don’t know that.

As we walk into 2021 the Global Pandemic is still going strong and probably will be with us for a good while to come. People are still dying, jobs are still being lost and people are suffering in all kinds of ways. Thankfully there are now several vaccines. Eventually we will be alright and hopefully the Pandemic will end.

Even when it ends, the people of this world will not easily forget what happened in 2020. Maybe that’s a good thing. I pray the Lord keep us humble, reliant on Him and that those souls that were saved during this Pandemic and before, honor and glorify our Father in heaven, Jesus our Lord and Savior and Precious Holy Spirit, all of their days.

When you praise Him in the midst of your battles, you are telling Satan he can’t have you that he can’t take away your faith, you are not giving up on Jesus. You are still in the fight against him and Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

God honors your praise and gives us glory strength to help get us through the battles we face.

I know you are hurting, that your circumstances look impossible to you.

And the mountain looks too big to move. Ask God to help you. There are wounds that need healing, broken hearts that need mending. God can heal and mend them all. He is still faithful and there is victory through Jesus Christ. Jesus died for all sin, and the hurts of our past. Ask the Lord to help you to move forward, to put your past behind you, to include 2020.

Healing, healing, healing, restoration in Jesus Name.

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

God Bless. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up all their wounds.
