Rant for Jesus-Grow in Faith, June 2019

When you choose to go down that road of sin, know that it will be a dead end that leads to destruction and death. The gates of hell will be up against you. Satan hates you and wants to take you with him, away from Jesus.

To change your destination, repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your Savior. Don’t let pride and arrogance get in your way of making the detour to Jesus. Allow the grace (undeserved favor) of Jesus to wash over you and make you whiter than snow, though your sins be as scarlet. He will forgive you of all of your sins. You will then begin growing your faith in Jesus.

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, let’s settle this, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.

As a follower of Jesus as you learn to trust Him, little by little your faith grows. There will be troubled waters along the way. It is by going through these adversities that we build our faith in God. Exercise your faith each time you encounter hardships and temptations coming against you. When times are difficult, talk to God. Ask Him for help to empower you to get through the hard times. The Holy Spirit lives inside of every believer. He is our Helper. He teaches, counsels, guides, convicts and empowers us in our walk with Jesus.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Read God’s Word to get to know Him better and to be led in the way you should go. God often times will speak directly to you through His Word. The Holy Spirit will lead you onto the narrow road and help you strengthen your walk with Jesus. He will teach you to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh/world, by empowering you not to give into temptation, envy hate, anger, gossiping or lying. He will teach you to avoid worry, fear, doubt, pride and arrogance. These all are open doors to sin. He will help you shut those doors so you can avoid them in your future.

Persecution, trials and tribulations are part of the believer’s life because we live in a sinful world that Satan roams. Going through these will increase your faith if you will trust, depend and keep your eyes on Jesus.

Job 1:7 The Lord said to Satan, Where have you come from? Satan answered the Lord, From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.

Your faith grows each time you conquer adversity and the storms of life. As you go through them it strengthens you. You are then able to help others like God has helped you. In doing this we can shine a light for others who are lost, fearful or feeling alone. In return, our inner light glows brighter with purpose for our Savior Jesus. Let’s keep our eyes focused on Jesus and His love, grace and mercy that He offers. We can conquer all things through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

A special place to dwell in for eternity has been prepared for you and all believers.

John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Tell your friends and family about Jesus so they can go to the Father’s house.

God bless. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up all their wounds.
