The Holy Spirit has a will, and that will is in perfect alignment with the will of the Father. You must have a personal relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. A guide for His general will for your life, can be found in the Bible. If you need guidance on morality or how to behave, you will find it in the Word. His specific perfect will for our life, we get from the Holy Spirit when He speaks to us, or when we are led by Him.

John 16:12-13 I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirt of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will tell you things to come.

I have yielded my life, to Jesus to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I have surrendered to Him, to work in me and through me, for His purpose. Anything He does through me, anything good that comes from the ministry, is not me, it’s the Holy Spirit. It is the working of the Holy Spirit through a vessel that has yielded to Him. All the praise and glory goes to God the Father, and God the Son, for everything the Holy Spirit does.

The Holy Spirit guides me about my family, the ministry, finances, blessing others, and on and on. He is with me directing me every time I sit down at the computer to write for the ministry. He directs and leads me, because I ask Him to. I ask Him before I write a message. I tell Him I need His help, that I can’t do any of this without Him. It is true. I can’t do anything without Jesus. He corrects me by convicting me and showing me things to improve on. He exposes the enemy, when he is out to get me. The enemy would like to destroy me, but with the Holy Spirit’s guidance he is defeated. If you will submit your problems, issues, situations to the Holy Spirit for guidance, He will direct your path. Before you make a decision, ask Him which way you should go.

Romans 8:6

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
Every Christian is a prospective recipient of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, so we can serve God better. The gifts God gives you, are designed for you, so you may fulfill your purpose on earth. It is up to the Holy Spirit to give us what gifts He desires us to have, and to decide which gifts are most suitable for us. He isn’t going to give us gifts that we are not able to handle. If we aren’t being obedient to God with what He has already given us, He won’t give us more. Some people would immediately abuse a gift God has just given them, because they aren’t good stewards, or aren’t mature enough, or their character may not be as it should be yet. The Holy Spirit knows us better than we know ourselves. He also knows the future and we don’t.

We must always give God the glory, not the gift. Praise the Giver of the gift. It is the supernatural power of God that makes the gift.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.

1 Corinthians 12:27-28 You are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of it. First, God has appointed apostles in the church. Second, he has appointed prophets. Third, he has appointed teachers. Then he has appointed people who do miracles and those who have gifts of healing. He also appointed those able to help others, those able to direct things, and those who can speak in different kinds of languages they had not known before.

The Bible says there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. Though our gifts are different one from the other, the source is the same, the Holy Spirit. There are so many gifts.

With the Word of God, and the person and power of the Holy Spirit in your life, we can accomplish anything. We can defeat the enemy through Jesus strength. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. We will be victorious in Jesus name.

Jesus gave His best, His all. If you want to be a successful mature Christian, you are going to have to give yourself completely to Him.

Romans 12:1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice–the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

If you are being led, then you are following. Jesus said, take up thy cross and follow me. He died for us on the cross and we must die from ourselves and surrender to Him and follow the Holy Spirit. If you are following where He is leading, you can’t miss God’s perfect will. You have given up your will and have your focus on God’s will. You have made it your own.

If you ever get to a place where you don’t know God’s will, stop and be quiet. Listen. The Holy Spirit has a still small voice, a quiet voice, not thunderous. He knows the perfect will of the Son of God. He will pray for you and through you.

Do not be afraid of the future, the unknown. Have no fear of satan and his demons. The Holy Spirit will defend and protect you.

Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

You are full of His unfailing love. He will take your yielded vessel and use it for His glory.

The Holy Spirit will fill all areas that you yield to Him. You must be submissive, obey and surrender to Him. Ensure that you are being faithful with what He has already given you. The gifts are for one purpose, and that is to glorify God. Allow God to express Himself in and through you, for His glory and the benefit of others, that you may be a blessing.

Spirit lead me, and I will follow. He will be with you when you cross the troubled waters, when you are in the valley and on the mountain top. He will hide you in the secret place of the most High, under the shadow of the Almighty. He will be your refuge and fortress. No evil shall befall you, nor any plague come near you. His angels will have charge over you.

He will be with you always. He will be your dwelling place. Fear not says the Lord, for I am with you, I will strengthen you, I will comfort you, I will lift you up with the righteousness of my right hand. Praise you Lord.
God Bless. Heal the broken-hearted, bind up all their wounds.
