Let Christ dwell in your heart by faith, not by feelings or performance, by faith. He has been inside you through the Holy Spirit, ever since you accepted Him as your Lord, and Savior. If you need Him, He is there. He isn’t up today and down tomorrow. He is consistent, steady, and orderly. You just have to know that He dwells in you.

I believe what God says in His Word, not how I feel or think or how others feel, and think. I stand on His Word, not my insignificant feelings. I choose to believe, and have faith. All I have to do is to look back, and remember how I was before I started following Jesus. I can see how He has changed me, healed me, restored me, and blessed me. I remember that pit He reached down into, with His righteous right hand, and pulled me out of. I did not deserve it, but I am so grateful for His love, mercy, and grace.

There are internal symptoms when you are lacking in faith, having doubts about your beliefs, or are confused about who you are in Christ. Your confidence may be lacking. You may not have any joy, peace, or feelings of being loved. You may not be reading the Bible like you need to.

You may be feeling insecure. You may compare yourself with others, always thinking they have it better than you do. You may be looking down on yourself. It may be difficult for you to take correction, even from loved ones. Correction feels more like rejection to you. This insecurity may be because you are looking at your own self, and what you do, and not at what Jesus can do. You may be easily offended, and talk badly about yourself. You may be fearful about today, and your future, lacking peace. Get your eyes off yourself, and on Jesus. He gives you everything you need for this world, and the next. All the strength you need is inside of you, through the Holy Spirit.

You must place your confidence in Jesus, not in yourself or others. If you continue to place your confidence in yourself, and not Jesus, you will not live the life Jesus has for you on this earth. All confidence should be in Jesus not in flesh. Have no confidence in outward privileges such as money. You can’t serve money, and God.

Philippians 3:3 For we who worship by the Spirit of God are the ones who are truly circumcised. We rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us. We put no confidence in human effort…

Believe God’s Word.

Proverbs 19:20 Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come.

2 Timothy 1:7 God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

Matthew 6:34 So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

Stop comparing yourself with others. God made us all different, with different gifts, and talents. Just look around you. God loves variety, and we are all different. Down to our DNA, and genes. You must be who God made you to be. Let God make you what He wants you to be. Yield yourself to Him. Tell God, here I am, do with me what You will. His way is far better than our way. He knows many things you do not. He knows the future!

You did not go through all you have gone through, to lose it now. The Lord is with you. The devil is a liar. You need to rebuke that devil that is confusing you, depressing you, telling you to quit, that you are a nobody. Do something, shake your fist at him, and yell at him. Tell him you are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ.

Every time Satan puts negative thoughts in your mind, stop him cold. Speak God’s Word out loud. The thoughts will instantly stop. Satan won’t give up, he will come back to try again. When he does, speak God’s Word again. He will get tired of this, and go bother someone else for a while.

Don’t let Satan steal the destiny Jesus died to give you. Know who you are in Christ, be bold, stand up, and fight against Satan with God’s strength, not yours.

God Bless. Heal the broken-hearted, bind up all their wounds.
