Bible Strong-Jesus’ Birth

The birth of Jesus is the most important birth there ever was or ever will be. Jesus is God in human form.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

The Bible teaches us that Jesus’ birth occurred in the fullness of time and at a time God chose. God had promised a Savior. He then arranged everything to culminate in the birth of our Savior. The birth of the One who died to pay for all our sins, sweet Jesus.

Galatians 4:4-5 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

The name Jesus is the Greek form of a Hebrew word meaning Jehovah, God will save.  Even the name Jesus testifies to His mission on earth.

Luke 1:26-38 tells the entire story of The Angel Gabriel’s visit.

He tells Mary some of what was to happen and the son she would bear even though she was a virgin.

Angel Gabriel said:

She would give birth to the Savior of the world.

She would conceive a child by the power of the Holy Spirit.

That He was to be called Jesus

That Jesus would be great and be called the Son of the Most High

That God would give Jesus the throne of David.

There will be no end to His Kingdom

He would be called Holy, the Son of God.

Hebrews 2:17  Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

What an incredible plan God had to save mankind from their sins.

Christmas is a special time to remember and celebrate Jesus. God has given us the gift of His Son. This great sacrifice, this great love of God should convince us of His love for us.

As you celebrate Christmas it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of gifts, trips, family and friends. Let us not forget we celebrate this day because, God so loved the world that He gave His only Son Jesus, that who would believe in Him would not perish but have life eternal. That is the best gift we could ever receive in this world.

Merry Christmas from Sherry Clark Ministry. May God bless you and yours and give you a peaceful night’s sleep. It only comes from Him.

God bless. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up all their wounds.
