Satan Will Tempt You

Satan is searching for who he can use to do his destruction, his work on earth. He is seeking his next victim, or the victim he can use again.

Revelations 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and Satan which deceiveth the whole world, he was cast out into the earth and his angels were cast out with him.

Job 1:7 Satan is going to and fro in the earth and walking up and down in it.

We were created to have dominion over everything on the earth. God gave us His power to rule on His behalf. We are to keep Satan from causing destruction, chaos, and devastation on the earth.

When you realize you have been created to stop Satan and have dominion over him, you shouldn’t be afraid to fight against him. We are to glorify God, and we cannot do that if we let Satan have his way. So we were created to have dominion in the earth and rule over Satan.

We were born in God’s image. He wants to find the ones who will glorify Him, and act like Him. He is looking for us to dominate, and have power over Satan. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior you are not in God’s image and Satan is dominating, and has power over you.

Satan wants to kill all of us who love Jesus, and are stopping him from carrying out his plans. He schemes to trap, and destroy us.

John 10:10 The thief cometh but for to steal and to kill and to destroy, I am come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.

Satan turned Adam, and Eve against God, and toward him when they sinned in the Garden of Eden. Since then humans are born in sin. It is our nature to be selfish, rebellious, prideful, lustful etc. Those qualities are not part of God’s likeness. Jesus came so we could receive the Spirit of God to restore us back to His image that Satan took from us. Let Jesus take the nature of Satan out of your heart, and put God’s heart and nature back in.

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Satan will come after you. He will tempt you, and he will lie to you. You must fight him, and be strong. Not in your own strength but through the strength of Jesus.

1 John 4:4 For greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

Since you have Christ on the inside of you, your nature has been changed. You will be able to defeat Satan when he comes. Not if he comes, but when he comes.

The enemy will try to get you to do the same things you used to do.  Some of which got you in this trouble you are in. Since Jesus has entered your heart you do not have the same desires as you used to. You won’t get pleasure out of the things you used to do because your heart and nature have been changed.

Your heart is no longer filled with rebellion, lies, and dishonor but rather love, joy, peace, morality etc. You have God’s heart in you. You are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ. You have honor and integrity because Christ is in you.

You have a new heart, and you must renew your mind with the Word of God. The Bible is a book of life, the mind of God. When you put the Word inside you, it renews your mind, and changes your perspective. It will tell you how to treat others, how to behave, how to talk, and what to do in different circumstances.

If you live life by the words in the Bible you won’t be coming back here to Tutwiler Prison. Satan will still come after you, and tempt you. Satan hates you. He wants to destroy you, and everyone around you.

Get the Word inside you so you can become strong enough to resist temptation. You need spiritual strength to fight Satan. Everyone is tempted, but not all who are tempted yield.

If you develop your new nature you will have a lifestyle of integrity, and righteousness. With the Lord’s help you will be strong enough not to yield to temptation and to resist sin. Now you have Jesus to help you and strengthen you.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God, I will strengthen thee yea, I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Satan wants to control you. He didn’t want you in prison but rather in the cemetery. He wanted to use you, and kill you, and you would then spend eternity in hell with him.

God hasn’t given up on you. You are still here. Walking with God changes you from weak to strong. Jesus endured criticism, persecution, rejection, abuse all the way to the cross for you. You are in here for a time. Use this time to become the person God wants you to be, a child of God. Learn all you can about Jesus, and how you are supposed to be His example for others. Tell Satan every time he approaches you, to get behind you. Prepare yourself for the day you leave this place. When you leave, leave strong in God. Never to come back to this place again, in Jesus name.

God Bless. Heal the broken-hearted, bind up all their wounds.
