The Message-Struggles

Are you in a day of trouble? Has the world beaten you down so far you don’t think you can get back up again? Are you addicted, hurting, brokenhearted, in pain, without finances, being abused, rejected, abandoned (the list goes on and on)? I want you to know God knows about your struggles. He has set His clock and the thermostat and has His eye on both. He will not put you through more than you can stand. If God is for you who can be against you? Lean on Him and, obey and yield to the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 34:19 The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time.

It’s hard to get through life’s struggles, trials and tests. Some of them want to swallow you up. Know that Satan wants you to fail. His hand is working against you. You aren’t alone in your struggles, everyone has them to include Jesus.

Jacob struggled with the angel all night before he received the blessing he wanted. His hip was disjointed in the fierce struggle.

Joseph (one of Jacob’s sons) struggled. He lost his coat of many colors because of his own brother’s schemes against him. Because of their jealousy of him. They put him in a pit and sold him as a slave. He screamed and begged them not to leave him there. When Joseph saw his brothers again many years later, he struggled to forgive them for what they had done. Before he received greatness he had to endure many struggles. He went to prison and the palace during his time in Egypt.

Genesis 50:20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.

Moses had many struggles with the Pharaoh of Egypt as he was trying to get the children of Israel (God’s chosen people) out of Egypt. Then he struggled with the children of Israel trying to get Egypt out of them and God in them. A 4 day journey took 40 years because of their disobedience.

Daniel struggled in the lion’s den while he was in Babylon.

David struggled with his own sin with Bathsheba that caused their child to die. He struggled in the caves hiding from Saul who wanted to kill him.

Jesus struggled while bringing the promise of the Father to this earth. That is that all who believed in Jesus would be saved and have eternal life. His own brothers didn’t believe who He was. Jesus struggled in Gethsemane where He sweat great drops of blood as He asked the Father if this cup could be passed from Him. He struggled when they arrested Him, beat Him, mocked Him, spit on Him and cursed Him. He struggled with that heavy cross they made Him carry on His bruised and bloodied back all the way to Calvary.

But, when He raised His head and looked to heaven and said It is Finished, the struggle was over and victory was His and ours. Because of what Jesus did on that cross we received everlasting life with Him and forgiveness of sins. Thank You Jesus for our salvation. Your Name is high and lifted up. The resurrected Jesus lives.

God is fighting for you. He wants to spread the light of Jesus throughout all the world to keep out the darkness Satan wants to bring in. Death and destruction is all Satan has for you. Fight against the struggles in Jesus Name. Give God your struggles, your trials and tribulations. He can do the impossible for you. He can make a way where there seems to be no way. He can open doors that no man can shut.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. He designed you to include the number of hairs in your head. He has planned your destiny. He requires you to obey and follow Him. Fight for your destiny God has for you. Satan only has death and destruction in your destiny. Never give up never quit because it’s hard. Remember you are a child of God, a child of the King. You are filled with the Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead. God lives in you. You have power inside of you as a child of God all because of Jesus. Fight Satan in the Name of Jesus. You can’t lose doing that!  Resist the devil and he must flee.

Something good is about to happen to you because our God loves you. He wants to shower you with blessings while you are on this earth. Listen for Him. Yield to the Holy Spirit. Obey and follow Jesus. Read and share His Word.

John 10:10 the thief cometh to steal, kill and to destroy. I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.

Notice that word abundantly. Jesus wants us to have an abundant life now. The thief’s (Satan) purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. Jesus’ purpose is to give a rich and satisfying life now. We don’t have to wait for heaven to have a taste of it on earth.

God’s favor is all over you. Tell the world what kind of God you serve and what He has done for you. Let the world see Jesus Christ in you by how you live, by what you say and do.

No matter how big your struggles are God can help you get through them. Some He will make disappear, others He will make it easier to get through, over or around. There are some He will carry you over if needed.

It may be the death of a loved one, broken heart, aloneness, rejection, your marriage, finances, children, grandchildren, addictions, lust, sexual perverseness, whatever it is God can help you get through it all if you will only ask Him to. But something is required of you. You must obey Him. He requires your obedience to receive abundant blessings. He knows we aren’t perfect so when we fail we must repent and turn to God. He’s a forgiving God, patient and merciful. Glory to our God.

God bless. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up all their wounds.
