The Message-The Crushing, March 2021

Your trials and circumstances today feel crushing. You didn’t see them coming and it is shocking. They have knocked you off your feet and your confidence has left you. You may be on the edge because of the crushing. Get on your knees and pray to our Sovereign God in heaven. He will help you, He will strengthen you and lift you up. Cry out to the only One who can help you.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

If you want the anointing, expect to be crushed because the oil for the anointing comes from the crushing.

Your ministry may be found where you have been crushed and broken. Your testimony comes from the healing and restoration from the crushing. Yes, God will heal and restore you from the hurt, pain, grief and sorrow. Everything that crushed you He will heal and restore if you will give it to Him and trust His will for your life. Often tell Him, Your will be done Lord. I pray for you healing, healing, healing, restoration in Jesus Name.

James 1: 2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

When you are tested by fire, it is like gold and silver being in the fire. The fire takes all the impurities out of it and leaves only pure and perfect gold and silver. If you are in the fire, God is working on you. He is refining you.

He is going to work on what He knows you need more of. Maybe it’s forgiveness, love, trust, faith, humility or patience. As we yield, surrender and obey Him, He begins to remold us into what He originally intended us to be, before Satan brought sin into the world.

A gem cannot be polished without friction, nor a man become more like Jesus than by going through the trials of life and the crushing they produce. He uses the deepest pain to mold us to become more like Jesus. The crushing makes us stronger in faith.

As sure as God puts us in the furnace of affliction, He will be there with us. When the crushing has done its work, God lifts us up from the depths of our pain and suffering. We must be willing to humble ourselves and obey His Word.

Isaiah 48:10 Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

1 Peter 1:7 that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Christians, we must endure the trials of life no matter how difficult they are. It is in the crushing that God will be the closest to us. He will never leave us, but help us. Suffering draws us apart from worldly things and closer to God. It grows and strengthens our faith in God and purifies us from the inside.

Colossians 1:11 We pray that you will have the strength to stick it out over the long haul-not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy.

Romans 5:3-4 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

2 Corinthians 12:8-10 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.  And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Be faithful through suffering. He is training us to depend on Him. The lifestyle of trusting the Lord brings inner peace. It isn’t here today and gone tomorrow. He will bend down and help you if you will only ask. Come out on the other side of it praising God. His smile will be upon you and His joy will fill your heart. The crushing is preparing you for blessings to come.

James 1:12 God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

1 Peter 5:10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

James 1:3-4 For you know that when your faith is tested, your patience, steadfastness and endurance have a chance to grow. And let endurance have it perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacing in nothing.

Lord, You were and are and will be forever Holy, my Lord and Savior. You are holy, holy, holy. Praise Your Holy Name.

God Bless. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up all their wounds.
